Recently returned from the WMC 2013. Pat Bedeau drops ten of the best from an action packed promotional tour of the Conference. Armed with a bag full of promo material for the launch of New label Bedfunk, as well as upcoming remixes due for release this spring on HiLife Records. Lisa Millet and remix for New York’s DJ Romain for his Nufaze label.

Pat has compiled a selection of some of the music he found to be hitting the spot at WMC and will feature in some of his upcoming sets.

The debut release for Bedfunk is here, Secret Passion by Soulful Session Feat. JJ. After appearing on the Strictly Music Miami Sampler 2012 and causing a bit of a stir, this sun drenched soulful cut gets a long awaited full release on brand new imprint Bedfunk. The package includes remixes from label boss Pat Bedeau and Citrus Sounds Doobie J, both adding their individual flavour to this Soulful gem. The package is completed with a Deep mix by Soulful Session himself, one that is sure to go down a treat poolside sessions in Miami.

The Trak Godz, is a collaboration between DJ Romain, Pat Bedeau & Alex Toms. Strictly Music brings together for the first time talents of Natasha Watts and Rainy Payne, both rising stars of house music, Natasha with her distinctive powerful voice sings lead, while Rainy’s dulcid tones and poetic prowess blesses the verses, a truly wonderful combination of power and panache. After a successful visits to and rocking the Pekelnej Bar Pat Bedeau has been invited back to the Czech Republic for a 3 night mini tour starting at Moo Music Bar in Kladno on the Thursday 4th October, then on Friday 5th October Pekelnej Bar in Prague and ending up on Saturday night Experiment klub in Liberec. Pat will be supporting Freaky Behaviour also from the UK, alongside some of the Czech Republics finest DJ’s. This will be one weekend that will be off the hook. After the success of our Christmas party last year at Mirage in Aylesbury, we just had to do it again, this time, we are in our home town of Milton Keynes at the Sumptuous Revolution

Club room. With extra special Guests, The Playerz AKA DJ Romain from Nu Faze records and Vincenzo Siracusa The Egg. After tearing down the house with his first guest appearance with us at Ultra Vegas, Romain was the first person we wanted to have on the bill for this Christmas celebration. Vincenz was the second, Vincezo Siracusa, AKA DJ Dr Pepper better known for his long running show on London’s Unknown FM. Vincenzo since leaving Unknown has embarked on his own production journey, producing alongside Romain to create the production team the Playerz. They have remixed new release on Strictly Music’s Label, Affection Ft Shishani with an absolute floor jammer, teched out Acid house flavour mix. Vincenzo has been resident at the Muak and all friends night through 2011 and has dj’s alongside such industry legends as. Kerri Chandler, DJ Sneak, Andre Lodderman, Karizma & Spen, WIllie Graff, DJ Le Roi and the list goes on. The Playerz are going to take you on a deep journey to the dark side of Soulful, you have been warned.

Of course your residents Pat & Terry Bedeau & Carlo Nigro will get you in the festive mood with their blend of Soulful and deep tracks, with loads of your favourite hands in the air classics to let you know that this year Christmas comes early.

‘Affection’ is the exciting new second release from fledgling UK label Strictly Music. Label boss Pat Bedau joins forces with Steve Gurley once again to deliver a dynamite slice of soulful house deliciously vocalled by Namibian native Shishani. ‘Affection’ also features a selection of tasty remixes including UK house maestro Guy Robin who injects bounce into the floor with a soulful garage vibe. Also representing Blighty’s soulful house scene in style is True2Life (Park Street) and debuting his remixing skills to full effect is Mellow Bee (son of famous jazz guitarist TJ Johnson), who at only 17 is truly destined for a great musical future!
